I traded my 03 600 with 4800 miles on it for an 04.5 efi and am very happy Got 1800 miles on the efi now and no problems. Better throttle response, better starting, especially in cold weather and better fuel economy. I get 8 to 10 miles per gallon more in the same kinda riding with the efi!

you're biggest change will be the EFI. I have the '05 700 EFI. A few other things that are great about the '05s, storage, suspension, engine changes/curves, clutch is better, stance is wider.....

although I like the 600 for overall riding, my friend has one, but the EFI is the biggest advantage....it is only in the 20's here this morning and the machine will start right up, just like it would if it was warm, now if i can just get outside and load it on the trailer to go to the mountains and ride in the snow and take some pictures....lol

What engine changes were made from the 04.5 EFI to the '05? And what changes were made to the clutch? I was under the impression the 04.5 and 05 had the same clutch and no changes to the engine. Thanks
