Default 05 Rancher Es Tires.......

I just Bought a 05 Yellow Rancher 4x4 ES First, off i'm looking for any advise for anything i should or shouldn't add to this quad..... But i'm thinking of ordering the Highlifter Spool Locker,Get some of that power on the ground, and with go with a 25 or 26 inch tire, and maybe wheel package, With Highlifters New spring lift kit.
But back to the Tires i think i shoudl just go with 25inch mud tires, maybe super swampers or 589s just so that my rancher can handle pin them over in the mud good, any thoughts will help

I don't think I would go any bigger than a 25" tire. You don't want to loose to much power in the mud with an aggressive mud tire like a 589.The Rancher is a great machine ,add a winch and you can go almost anywhere.

That sounds like a good combo, there are so many different tires to pick from ,all depends on what kind of riding you do.Almost any aftermarket tire will do better than the stock ones.As for lift kits depends on your choice, some say they it wears your cv joints prematurely others have had no problems at all.If you don't need it for tire clearance I would leave the lift off .IMO

You may want to think twice about the 589 tires unless you do all your riding in the mud. I had a new bigfoot kit with the 589"s and suffered terrible handling characters and a couple of crashes on the trail. I have a couple of threads on here about it. One is intitled, handling problem cured. You may want to read it..I sold the new set after about 20 hours of riding and replaced them with another bigfoot kit of the same size, 26", and used mudlite tires this time..Wonderful results, no more crashes so far and feels like it has power steering compared to the old 589 tires..Still goes great in the mud.
