One good thing about the relese of the new 250ex is the fact that it has the recon motor, which means some aftermarket companies might make motor mods, and other goodies for the 250ex/Recon powerplant. I would also like to know if the plastics, front brakes, and suspension of the 250ex will fit the recon. Maybe soon I will have a tricked out recon along with a new 400ex that my dad is buying in a month.

Am I see things or does the 250ex have an oil cooler? Small but I tooks like it has one. TO me it would be better on a normaly slow moving recon than on a (so called) sport bike. I think it would be easy for you recon owners looking to extend your oil life by a little bit and add a little more oil capacity to add in keeping the motor cooler.
