Default Headpipes glowin and clutch slippin??

Well my brother and I were playing out in the snow on our DS's and he said his clutch was slipping, but its weird, sometimes it works fine, other times when you let the clutch out it doesn't move at all, and then when the clutch wasn't grabbing he noticed his headpipes were glowing red for about 2" out,

any idea why either would be happening especially since its got stiffer springs in the clutch

well, the glowing headpipes is because of a Lean conditon, clean the carbs and maybee go up one size on the mainjet. clutch slipping, maybee wrong weight oil in the crankcase? sounds like typicall COLD symthoms!

what kind of oil R U running ? make sure its for wet clutches, I was runnig valvoline 10 40 auto oil . had to switch to HP4 . take you clutch out and sand the steels, give it another go. I did that to mine in the summer and she hasnt sliped yet.
