Went riding yesterday. If you click on the link below, it will take you to my pbase directory, click on any image to enlarge. I didn't take many pics and had the dog along, so didn't do any extreme riding.

In the first pic, you will see a rise in the background, it may not look pretty steep, but it is. If you look on the image, I added the word 'here' on the image....that is where I shot my elk this year during bow season. I shot it right at dark and had to get my 700 EFI up there....needless to say, it wasn't something I would want to really do during the day by myself and I did it at night. I got it up there, took awhile though, had to backup several times and take different routes....good thing I had the GPS along....i always do.

ps....i reduced image resolution so it will load quicker, the Canon 20D is an 8.2 megapixel camera, you wouldn't want to see full res. pics, take longer to load

Hopefully I'll get out one of these weekends just to take some pics. I snap them off when I'm out there, but just in limited area's and not the best photographic setup. Its really hard to look at the pics and see how high the mountains are. I'll get out one of these weekends and take some good pics to show you guys.

There is this really old two-track going up one of the hillsides...its super steep, we tried it a few years back and turned around, I want to go up it, but don't dare do it by myself. This is one of those trails that are so steep that you have to take one machine up part of the way with a couple other riders walking with you in case it starts to go you can stop it. I think we may have to put some ropes on it or use the winch cable for something to hold on to. I'll hopefully get some trusting people this year to go up it with me.

Any of you that are ever heading out this way and want to ride, let me know. You're welcome to come out. I'm hoping to buy a travel trailer this year to go do some camping and riding. I do alot of camping already, but in the tent, would be easier to setup with the trailer...harder to get to where you need to, but then again when you have the ATV, you don't need to get too close, you just need to carry the gas to get you there. I have two flat pack gas cans, so I can go a long way.....

Again, any of you planning to come out this way, you're welcome and I'll take some time off to ride. Let me know, maybe we can get quite a few people to come out and do some riding....
