I'm looking at either a 2005 Polaris Sportsman 400 auto, or 2005 Suzuki Eiger 400 auto. I will be using it to ride trails and plow my driveway. Any help would be greatly appreciated...thx

 

Well the sportsman is 425 cc and the eiger is 376cc. The sportsman has a greater rack and towing capacity also. Pricewise I bet the sportsman is about a grand more. The eiger you can get the 5 speed or the auto. I like the looks of the polaris better myself. Anyway, happy shopping.

i was looking at both and got the Eiger..i have found it more than cabable for the snow i plow...i plowed about 9 inches of snow on ice with out chains...i feel that is preety good...it is a very good machine for the price

 

IMO the Eiger is a better all around quad than the Polaris. The Sportsman may have a few more CCs but it also weighs a lot more so it kind of balances out. Best thing to do is give them both a test ride. Both are good quads.

 

get the Eiger and save some money to get stuff for it!
