Default MUDLITES ON THE RANCHER 400AT

Finally got a chance to go riding again yesterday. Just had installled a set of the larger lugged 25inch mudlite tires and maxlite mags on the girlfriends Rancher. She said it handled just as good as the stock bridgestone dirthooks did. We hit the same mudholes as the previous week and she cruised right threw them no problems. She didnt have any problems with the Bridgestones either, I just thought it would be a good upgrade to step up one size tire and a little more aggressive tread. Turned out the 25 inch mudlites are actually just a tad smaller in diameter than the 24 inch Bridgestones that were factory are. Probably less chance of flats now with the thicker mudlites and I believe from experience that they will give better traction than the stock tires. The lugs clean out well while riding and the lugs on the sidewalls help alot strattling large deep ruts. She had no problems climbing steep rutted and rocky hills. She has been riding this machine for three weekends now and already looks like a pro!! Great combination of machine, tires and woman!
