I am thinking of getting some Mudlites on our 02 sportsman. We have them on our Arctic Cat TBX and they work great. I am most likely gonna go with 26" because I don't want to loose power. Can anyone tell me what rim size I have? I am at work and cant seem to find the info.

I think I need a 26-10-12 on front and 26-12-12 on back????? Is that right?

also, my buddy wants to get a set for his 2004.5 sportsman, those are a dif. size right?

These are both on the stock rims.

front 12x7 wheel ...25x9 12 tire
rear 12x8 wheel ....25x11 12 tire

you can use 12x7 wheels all around.
dont go larger than 9 inch wide tires up front or you will need spacers.

 

are those the specs for an 02 sportsman? The 2004.5 is diferent right?

 

I am pretty sure they are all the same except the 400 sportsman and the 05's went to 26".
This is the size on my 02 700 and most sportsman quads.

 

I just checked the Rims on both 4-wheelers

The 02 Sportsman has 12" rims in front and 10" rims in back. I am going to get 26x9-12 and 26x12-10

The 04.5 sportsman has 12" rims in front and back. I am going to get 26x9-12 and 26x12-12
