from what i have been reading the kawi bf750 is quicker, lighter and some say the better quad....what do y'all think?

top speed on the 800 is in the low 70's it varys in different locations

performance wise, the 750 is a better quad, and lighter, but the 800 kills everything in most other aspects, not to mention its EFI. id tell him to stick with his decision of the 800

I am trying to be as unbiased as I can. There is no doubt the bf750 is faster of the two, but the SP800 is no slouch either. The kawasaki is much lighter. It has a dry weight that is 160lbs less than the sportsman. As to saying that the brute force is a better overall quad is fairly subjective. The 800 has a better suspension than the brute force. Even some brute force owners have admitted this. The brute also sits up higher than the SP resulting in a little less stability. They are basically the same in width, but the 800 sits 2 inches lower than the bf750 does. I have heard of both having some minor problems, but they are nothing that would turn you away from either four-wheeler. Spyder6 already mentioned about the advantages the efi on the 800 has over the brute force. I am not sure about the handling of the two. The nod might go to the sp with the lower height and better suspension. They are both bada$$ quads. Good luck with the decision.

when dirtwheels reviewed it, they said that it was near impossible to bring the side off the ground when turning because of how wide and how low its center of gravity is.

The 800 is much better IMHO. it has a lot more premium features (tires, wheels, storage) is more stable and handles better.
The only thing the BF has on it is Drag times, and thats just barely.
The 800 won the ATV Rider shootout and the BF came in last. It broke down twice on testers.
