Default clutch springs

I just put a Hetricks racing power up C kit on my sons Kymco Mongoose 50. It was a pipe, clutch kit, main jet & uni filter. I put the red springs in and I think there to strong, I don't think the clutch is opening all the way. What is the next weaker spring yellow or blue? The quad seems to rev ok but it will only go about 5mph. Some help would be great. Thanks Jason.

One more thing the uni filter is a clamp on so the air box is gone, it had a 80 main jet in it and I went to a 100 does this sound ok ? I can't really tell yet since the quad won't really move. Thanks again Jason.

Did you change the rollers weights also. I have the same c kit in out Arctic Cat 70. It worked great. What color clutch sprinks did you use. I do believe the yellow is the next weaker spring. But this only changes the rpm hit in which clutch engages. Give Michelle a call at hetricks.

The 100 should get you close. You probably will need to drop the clip a notch on your needle to feed it more gas in the middle. We ended up with a 105 on top.

Thanks guys, I talked to Rich at Hetricks and he has a Kymco in his shop so he's trying to figure out the best set up for it , he seems like a great guy and he's easy to deal with. I also orderd there C kit for my other sons viper 90r today so i'm sure i'll have some more questions in about 4 days. Thanks again Jason.
