Well fellows we all got together and found a cheap places for some new and improved tie rod ends that were better than the factory ones...so who has got one of the green springs so we can start shopping around. I mean come on fellows if it were even $10 or $15 bucks I could see it but $30 bucks for the green spring and you know I got to have one if they are working as good as they say...

sounds good po hehehe seriously seems we could find a duplicate or something close or even better from one of the machine shops or industial places that sell parts for dozers or heavy equipment wonder if we would have to go by how big the gauge of the steel on the spring, how many winds, the strength of it etc. bound to be a duplicate for it we can all find for around $10 any ideas out there...

If you think 30 dollars is alot of money for a green primary spring,it is.So is paying 6200k for your quad,so is paying 45 dollars for one set of rear brake pads,so is paying 12 dollars for a tiny air filter,so is paying for any replacement parts on a quad.None of it is justified, its supply and demand. The spring works on the Xplorer.

I think 30 dollars is a OK price if you compare it to the price of a complete clutch kit from EPI for 169 dollars. And the 30 dollar spring did more for me than the entire EPI clutch kit did on my Sportsman.====Bill

Well Bill if I know this coming from you is a noticeable increase in performance it has got to be good causing you are always trying to squeeze that extra little bit out at any cost. And yes $30 bucks is not much considering you pay 6k for one of these monsters just thought one of the guru's on here might do some cross referenceing and find out we can get the same thing for $20 bucks less. By the way Bill Rockymountainatv got the severe duty pads for the back for $25. I am getting ready to shoe mine.

ATVing,
Im also concidering the metal pads.Im waiting for these guys[Rocky Mountain] to open and im going to start asking some questions.Their add says that the metal ones should be great for mudding.

I like the idea that you keep the stock pads on the back shelf. When I had my 99 Sportsman,I allways kept the Polaris oil filter on hand so I could install it if I needed to bring it in for warrenty work.
Hence,
they could'nt mess with me on not having GENUINE Polaris parts. Thanks for the phone number to RM-ATV,
Bill

AAEN sells the green spring for $20. His clutch weights are about half the price of everyone else's also.
