can you do modify wiring to keep your reverse? if you put on the PEP EZ pull clutch perch/lever? i have one to put on, but i want to keep my reverse, please help!!!!!! Doris

 

are you talking about the one for like 250 bucks made by that german guy ?

 

Ummmm, I wanted to do this too when I had my 300ex, but couldnt really figure out how to make it work. I know that with the start in gear thing, you just put the wires together to make it keep working, as for the reverse, I am not totally sure how it would work. Maybe trace the wires that it uses and then put them together while you still have your other lever and see if it works, if not then it wont work, if so, put on your PEP.

 

thanks anyways, my husband is gonna put on the PEP clutch, guess i got to start lifting weights so i can pick the darn front end up or back end and slide it around some!!

 

I dont know what clutch lever mods you have made but I have done the same for my wife,s 300 . As follows : removed complete clutch leverass including cables to reverse shaft & park brk . installed CR250 cluth perch & lever & Wb park brk block off . then i pulled reverse shaftlever all the way back double safety wiring it & finally connecting wiring .She has reverse & very easy clutch pull .
