i got a 2003 yamaha blaster and when you start it up and go to takeoff it stays at the same rev.
Already replaced stator. SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Your problem reminds me of once years ago with a Penton 250 about a 1974 when I had same symptoms, it would start and idle but no power when you got above idle. The problem was my spark arrestor was plugged nearly solid so it could not breath.
If you have been playing with the jetting you could be way too rich on needle or main. You may have left a rag in the carb intake after cleaning filter. I believe the 03 Blaster has Yamaha's TORS (Throttle override system) like the Banshee but not sure. If Blaster has TORS then one of connections could be loose or some other system malfunction. Most Banshee owners just remove the TORS altogether.

make sure your parking brake is completly off or else you wont have any power , but it will idle like normal

 

I Had the same Problem with my Banshee. it was the Parkbrake switch it was bad so i just cut the wires.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
