Default banshee resleeve one cylinder?

Our 2001 banshee seized and ruined the left cylinder sleeve(cracked bad).It was on its original bore. My mechanic is telling me i can get away with resleeving just the left cylinder, and then boring both cylinders to 20 over. Is this guy right? or am i taking a big risk? it will be resleeved by la. sleeve, with a standard banshee sleeve.

I dont see a problem with it at all. There is no need to re sleeve-both cylinders if only one is damaged.

Yeah, the tech is right. One cylinder can be resleeved and it will run great. LA Sleeve does good work and you'll have nothing to worry about.

No risk at all by doing this, both your cylinders will be refreshed with same compression rate
