Default sp700 rear wheel bearings

I was riding the 700 today and I heard what sounded like a rear wheel bearing being dry it would come and go and I could not tell what side it was. I jacked up the rear and it has quite a bit of play back and fourth on both sides. How many of you have replaced your rear bearings?

Are you sure its bearings and not a arm bushings? I have not heard of many bearings going out but many bushings.

I think its the bearings because it didn't start doing it till today when both me and my wife was riding double. I also noticed I have lost some top end speed which also points to the bearing.

Well I took both sides off and the right bearing is bad . Every thing else looks perfect.
