HI,
The Komoto 150 has an electric choke it is an auto unit that is activated when you turn on the key. These electric chokes are pretty durable but from time to time give some folks trouble in cooler climates, I have not had any issues with mine.
I did get a tip from a poster on this site that uses Marvel Mystery oil in his fuel, I do the same thing and it has worked I guess, as mine havn't given me any problems.
I've done alot of research on these chinese quads and I have two Komoto 150's auto w/reverse for my sons. The engines are built in the same factory as the Yamoto so the Yamoto and the Komoto will interchange as they are the same thing.
I got a much better deal on 2 Komotos than I could on the Yamoto and the service from Anan cycles (where I bought them) has been great Philip was the salesman and Joe in parts has been great when inquiring about parts availability, by the way My oldest son bent an axel in a wreck last week, the cost for a new axel was $19 in stock.
The only thing I really dont like is the suspension, it doesn't have much travel and I am looking for some different shocks to bolt on.
