i changed out the battery in my 2000 sportsman 500. i just bought this atv used and i dont know how to crank it with the electric start. I dont see an electric start button. i pull started it and rode around with the lights on, and it seems like the battery is working because the lights arent flickering like they were before i change the battery out. Any help would be appreciaited.

On the older Sportsman's you push up on the off-run-off switch on the left side of the handle bars to start it.

 

cool man, thanks. The black part where the letters are looks like someone spraypainted white over the letters so i didn't see where it said push up for start.
