How about Eigers?
#1
Thinking about buying an Eiger. Most of what I've read about them indicates that they have a lot of bang for the buck. I'd be mostly trail riding and pushing alittle snow. Don't think I'd be doing anything severe. I tend to baby all of my toys. Anyway, I'd appreciate any comments.

"Best bang for the buck" pretty well sums it up. There are bigger quads out there. There are quads with more features, bells and whistles. But not for the money. The Eiger is a good mix of utility and sport, you'll be happy with it.

Howdy Jaybeecon,
Do ya think this quad will be around a while? My big concern is that they'll discontinue it and I'll be scroungin for parts etc. Right now it seems pretty popular but down the road is my concern. Anyway, thanks for the feed back.

I too, think that the Eiger will be around for some time yet. The Eiger first came out in 2002, right at the beginning of when Suzuki finally got off their "bold new graphics" method of updates and finally started making quads again. '02 was also the first year for the Vinson and the Ozark came soon after. About the only downside to the Eiger that I see is the styling - the new style headlights help somewhat but the Eiger remains quite 'boxy' as compared to the other Suzukis. It would not surprise me to see totally new plastic in the next couple of years.

Yea, I hear that Scooter86 / Jaybeecon 55. I appreciate the feedback. I guess it would take a while for parts to become an issue with all those suppliers I see in all the magazines etc.
Uuuuuh Ra, Semper Phi and god bless the "Devil Docs" and all the troops. Their brave efforts ,as we speak, are why we're able to talk about this stuff . Thanks again and have a good one.
