i have a 1999 sportsman 500 that is not getting any spark. i have looked in the history and have found that this has happened to other people but never an answer to why. so here is my problem awhile back when we was ridding the speedo would go out and when i would shut it off after ridding the darn thing would not start back up. no spark, after it set for over night it would start up again and stay running and would run like new but when i shut it off it would lose spark. well now it has gotten worse now it wont start. i have replaced the control box on the left handle bar that controls the run stop and start buttons and also have replaced the cdi. the local shop said that the stator is working and producing power to the cdi. i am ready to pull my hair out on this one guys so please any help would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for reading jgg
