Default wolverine 350 vs. rancher 350

which one would out-pull the other? keep in mind i'm talking the 350 wolverine, not the new 450.

also, which one would win in a 1/4 mile drag, and which would take the top end?

my buddy claims the 350 wolverine is all the shiz-nat but we do mainly mudding and he wants to get one soon, he thinks he'll stomp all of us. My 350 rancher tops all the other guys' rides, but i'm afraid of losing my throne to the wolverine if he gets one.

WHEN ITS WORKING, it will run fine at first and then it will go downhill, trust me. Rancher all the way.

Doesn't the Wolverine have an antiquated old open differential? Your Honda doesn't have lockers, but at least it has a torque sensing diff. Bit advantage to the Rancher there.

Rancher400, what do you mean, it will run fine at first and go downhill? that 350 motor is a tank, based off the Warrior, I've owned a Wolverine since 95, the only reason I rebuilt it was I rode it into the ground with yard work, thousands of trail miles, hunting, and 2 trips to the dunes, Michigan and Oklahoma, didn't see any Ranchers doing that ! Both are great trail quads, one (Rancher) more work oriented, and the other ( Wolverine ) more sport/utility. The Wolverine has almost 9" ground clearance, pretty good for mudding, with diferent tires it will plow through anything. Both quads, if taken care of, will run great for many years of fun, don't just slam the Yamaha for the brand. I own both Honda and Yamaha, because each fills a need or function, I don't judge based solely on brand.
Oh, and quicksilver, the top end on a stock Wolverine is 55 to 60, so drags will probably all go to the Wolverine. That Warrior motor revs out pretty good. You might take him off the line, but by 2nd or 3rd, he will be gone.

The Wolverine will BLOW away a 350cc Rancher in a drag race..The only advantage the 350cc Rancher has is FULL fender protection from mud ect,and that is IT,PERIOD!
