it seems the clutch on my 87 200sx is knocking a bit .. is that normall and is there anything that i can do to stop it if its not ? it does it when you rev it up but its only at the begining of the rev. i thoght it dropped a valve when i first heard it just sounded like engine had eaten something.. but its comming from the clutch .. seems to get a bit less once its warmed up too .

 

I would not start it agine! One time one of my bolts that hold the presser plat on my clutch back out. luckly it just hit and bent the holt inside my case. but it could had been alot worse, it could have fell into the bottom and got into my clutches then i would have been out $400 bucks on my dirtdigger clutch system. i would pull the side of my case off and check. and it was knocking just about like you are talking about.
