I have a 2000 rancher es. I was riding last weekend and noticed that at about 1/4 throttle all the way to the rev limit I am puffing white smoke. I installed a pipe, K&N, and a jet kit a couple of months ago. It was running fine untill last weekend. Actually it still runs fine it just puffs smoke. What could it be.

It cooled off recently...could it just need rejetted? I went one leaner on the main jet and moved the pilot up one groove but it still seems to be happening.

I ride it alot of mud and water. Could I have gotten some crap in the motor and f%&#@d up the cylinder or the rings. could the pipe be clogged with crap and be causing too much back pressure.

Maybe I just have water in the gas.
