snowmobile motor into quad frame
#1
Has anyone put a snowmobile motor into a quad frame. If so how did you do it. Pics would be great. We have a motor and the frame we just need to rig up a jack shaft to switch from belt to chain drive. If anyone has anything please help.

Sounds like fun! Just need a jackshaft setup to run the belt driven secondary and a motor plate, maybe a little elbow grease too! Good luck and may I recommend studying others designs before tearing yours apart.

In most situations, it doesn't work very well. Especially on the newer sled engines, the snow coming up from the bottom helps cool it. It would be fast as h*ll when it did run though
