Default snowmobile motor into quad frame

Has anyone put a snowmobile motor into a quad frame. If so how did you do it. Pics would be great. We have a motor and the frame we just need to rig up a jack shaft to switch from belt to chain drive. If anyone has anything please help.

I did, I did it the easy way, and just went down to the local BRP dealer and there they were ATV's with sled motors already put together and ready to ride, LOL HA, HA, HA

Sounds like fun! Just need a jackshaft setup to run the belt driven secondary and a motor plate, maybe a little elbow grease too! Good luck and may I recommend studying others designs before tearing yours apart.

I did this once, but the engine kept on over heating...It worked great for winter riding. Have fun!

In most situations, it doesn't work very well. Especially on the newer sled engines, the snow coming up from the bottom helps cool it. It would be fast as h*ll when it did run though
