Default Warrior Float Stuck

Hello, I just purchased a 96 warrior, and the float seems to be stuck. I havent taken the carb apart yet, and tapping on it doesnt seem to work. With the gas on, it will ride for a few minutes then bog down and start to die. But if i shut the gas valve off it'll pick back up and run fine. Switching back and forth is a pain. Ive never done carb work, so im iffy about taking it apart. Any help would be great, Thanks

if u have a manual for your bike, that should help a whole lot. or look for a diagram of your carb. other then that, take it apart in a place that is clean and you wont loose little peices. make sure u have a full can of carb cleaner. if your not comfortable doing it, give it to someone who is just to be safe.
