Does anyone know what kind of advantages the .50 piston from Honda will provide for my recon. thanx

 

The primary purpose of the slight overbore, .050, is to clean up the cylinder wall and provide a good seating surface for the new oversize rings.

While your displacement will increase marginally, along with your compression ratio, the main purpose of a .050 overbore is "rebuild," not performance; a worn cylinder wall is its only practical justification.
