AC 500 2 up-Shifting between Hi Lo and reverse

We just bought a new AC. When shifting into reverse it doesnt always find it very easily. Sometimes it has to hunt for all the gears. Is this normal or is there a adjustment. Reverse is the hardest to "find"?

It will get better with more miles on it. Just give it some time.
