do you guys no the stock hp on a ds650 and what HP can you get out of it with only bolt on parts nothing done to the inside of motor.......

 

Your gonna hear anywhere from 38-42hp on a crate stock ds just depending upon the dyno. Take a look at my dyno sheet with just a pipe, carb & cdi. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

pretty nice bike not much of a ds650 fan but nice bike do allways been a ford man same with honda first bike i had was a trail 90 and will always be a honda man and i ran the crap out of them and i no i can just them.....

but nice bike anyways....

 

can you get 60hp on a stock ds650 frame without getting into the engine with bold on mods...

my friend drag races ds650 and has his own machanic he racing stock drag classes i dont believe that his machanic has not touched the inside of that motor, whos going to no on the drag track if hes port his heads or got a cam...

the weekend i drag raced there where people cheating that got into the stock class i will never drag race again i could have lide about my hrc kit but i didnt......

 

We tossed around the idea of experimenting with a set of dual carbs on my bike just to see if there is anything else left in the stock engine. But I cant stomach the extra $1000 right now. Some say I would pickup an additional 3-5hp. But who knows, [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
