hey guys. I've been out fer a while, i sorta had an accident 3 weeks ago. I'm bearly typing right now. I own a 2003 yamaha banshee and i was out riding one day, 3 weeks ago right after skool, and i was tapped out in 3rd gear, and i hit a rut going down this slight incline. both my wrists snapped at impact and i flew over the handle bars, and landed on my neck, then bouced and flipped and fractured my leg and cracked my helmet. My four wheeler almost hit me, and all my friends were all freaked out. but i'm almost better, i got like 4 weeks left in these casts. but my main problem is my bike. I got a bent steering stem and I was wondering if i should buy a new one or if i can jus pry it away from my gas tank some how. and my other problem is, one of my friends juss got a raptor 700. haha, but yea, i think i can take him when i get healed up. My 'shee hasn't lost yet, and this kid isn't so great at riding. but yea, juss thot i'd let u all know to be careful out there when ur riding and ur wrists can snap pretty easy lol. it was painful and stuff, but yea, my parents will make sure i'm safer now, if they even let me get back on my bike. but yep, later.

You will need to buy a new steering stem. Once they are bent, their no good.

That sucks man, I hope you heal up quick, but don't rush the recovery. You'll have to replace the stem, once they're bent they're never right again. It would be so weak from bending it back that it wouldn't be safe to ride, you could have an accident even worse than your first one if it broke off while riding.

Don't worry about the Rappy 700 cause your parents traded in your Banshee about 3 weeks ago for a Bruin 250...............j/k.

Very glad to hear your recovering................Good luck with that and worry about that 700 later (you'll heal faster that way)...........
