I get on my husbands at it is great for everything I can jump it and do just as good in the trails as on my Pred. But the DS is way more comfortable. You can ride all day in comfort great bike all around.

I will put it this way.... if you think that a trail quad benefits from wider a-arms then you will love it. If you think that a trail quad needs to be narrow then you will not like it. I guess it really depends on what kind of trails you are running. Hell, there are kits out there for aftermarket narrow a-arms for the new Suzuki so if that sounds like somthing you would like, I would steer away from the DS... its as wide or wider than the new Suzuki. I love my DS and would not ride any other bike; trails, open desert, or dunes. If you are tall its the only choice.

Alright for trail ridin... i seem to keep up with my friends. I have a little more HP than them, so i can get away from the pack. But when the trail is very narrow, better to have a rappy or pred. Great for jumpin with a thick, reliable frame... and great suspension!

Well Stock the DS has 11 or 12 inches of clearence. I do not believe you will be pounding any dents out of it. However, the 22" tires do give you a bit more, but the biggest gains with them are traction and control. Crash20 and I were doing some side by side racing this weekend. These were down trails that were just wide enough for both bikes, and about 3 inches between the tires. We were running full throttle 3rd through whoops and around very tight corners. Extremely intense, but these things will go anywhere, and in my opinion hang with any bike in the situations. As for the jumping, I am almost 300 lbs myself, and take this puppy flying in the dunes. I am not the biggest jumper out there, but when you are talking 4-6 feet in the air, and landing 15-20 feet away from the jump, and you land on a pillow....We have a Banshee also, and I would not trade a minute of my DS time for it.

All I do is trail ride my DS, The trails I run are 20 and 40 miles long through the woods. I run them like I stole the quad. I have only had to yield to one quad and a couple dozen bikes in my 2000+ miles of running it. Once you get the suspension set up to your liking you can really scream on the trails. I rarely shift below 3rd gear and hardly ever see 5th gear. I have never been disappointed with my quad choice for trail riding. It's a torque monster and really pulls well coming out of the corners. =]

I would take my Outlaw over my DS for the trails, It has more ground clearance 11 inches vs. 4 inches and it has reverse.
