Default Falcon 110 possible cdi problem

Bought three Falcon 110's for my kids at Christmas. One of the ATV's clicks when you try to start it (click is coming from the unit under seat - I believe it is the CDI?). It doesn't appear the starter is turning - I've tried switching the battery that starts the other ATV but it does the same thing. Wanted to get input before I start ordering parts and doing the trial and error route.

If it's clicking, I cant imagine it is the cdi. The cdi is a rectangular black box with a multi-wire plug on one end of it. It is under the seat.

But, it sounds like you're describing the starter solenoid. The solenoid should have two large gauge wire attached to it (maybe a smaller wire or two connected as well). The these wire are screwed down with nuts. You can cross these two posts with a screwdriver and see if the engine will turn over. If it does, replace the solenoid. You may have to order one, but I bet you can find something locally that will work. If I recall correctly, the one on the yamaha timberwolf looks very similar to the one on our chinese quads.

clicking means one of three things, dirty corroded battery cables, low battery, or starter solenoid,. very easy to check any on of these out.

Check and see if the kids kicked the kickstart and lock in the gear if it has a kick start. This happend on my Redcat 150 when the kicker didn't return to home position.

My 150 makes the same sound. Its not the cdi. Ive charged my battery and then it makes that noise. And how do you fix that kickstarter problem nitrox? I have to kick mine back up
every single time. My foots about to break from having to bring it back up over and over again. Thanks.

If you have a GY6 motor (If you dont know google GY6 motor) GY6's are used on most 110 and 150 cc atv's

1 pull the kick starter off note the spline position
2. pull the 8 or 9 bolts holding the plastic drive assembly cover
3. you can see the kick start adssembly and kick start return spring.
4 make sure every thing is free and no broken parts and the return spring is in place

go to atvpartsusa.com they have parts list and pic of Falcon110 atv's'
If you got a parts book with your atv look at the drive assembly you can see the break down.
If you didn't get one PM me with your e-mail and I will scan mine and send it to you.
