Default Lt80 secondary clutch grabs too fast.

This problem has been with me since I change the clutch on my 89 Lt 80. With the machine just idling the secondary clutch is grabbing and lurching the quad forward even with the brake on. I think that I may have to replace the springs holding back the brake shoes since they are making contact with the drum, but the thrust pads seem to tight and won't allow for any slippage.

I may of installed the thrust plate on incorrect, or too tight, should there be some free spin on this part of the clutch. My idle is down as far as I can with out stalling at all the stops.

If any one has any suggestion's please Throw them in. Cheers

Is there any modifications done to the motor or clutchs?

Howdy, This is a basic stock machine. I rebuilt the front and back clutches and replaced the belt thinking it was time for a little maintenance. At first I thought things were just new and had to break in but it does not seem right.
