Default Can't figure out Lectron 48

OK guys... am I missing something here... the HPR site said that there should be a choke... found that, an idle screw (the one the spring behind it)... found that, the power jet screw... found that, and the air/fuel idle bleed screw... can't find that.

Am I just retarded or something. Do all the lectrons have a air/fuel idle bleed screw? HPR site says:

"The air/fuel idle bleed is the vertical screw in front of the idle screw, but behind the choke. Screw out for leaner smoother idle (max 3 turns). Screw in to richen if experiencing bog or hesitation when the throttle is snapped open quickly"

There is nothing in front of the idle screw and behind the choke. I'm lost... anyone?

First, I never knew that a bogging condition can be eliminated or helped by the A/f screw.

Second, Look at the top of your carb, there is a screw (should be bronze) facing DOWN. That is the a/f in between the choke and the slide housing. hope this helps. If you need me to draw a diagram and point her out I can.LOL J/K im sure all the 48s are the same. as far as idle and a/f screw.

get this pig going and tuned, I want you to feel some NEW FOUND power!

OK... I'm looking at the top of the carb.... still not seeing it... I have only three areas that look like they are for adjustment. The choke (that one is obvious), the idle screw (bronze w/ spring behind it), and the screw covering the power jet. Are the idle screw and the air/fuel idle bleed the same thing? I checked the Lectron site and I didn't see it there either... what is HPR reffering to? This carb was originally set up for alky would that make a difference?

The top screw next to the choke it the a/f not idle. the idle is on the SIDE of the carb not the top.

Thanks Sandaholic... but now I think I might be screwed... I DON"T HAVE AN AIR SCREW! WTF!!!!!!! There is just a big blank spot next to the choke. What the h&ll do I do now? This thing supposedly came from HPR orriginally... maybe it didn't... why would this thing not have the damn air screw?

Does the metering rod say HPR on it? That will give you a good indication if it actually came them.
