Default Sprocket adjustment

Anyone drop a tooth or 2 in the front, I just ordered a sprocket with one down in the front. I'm curious to how the Raptor is going to feel and if I maybe should have went down to 12. I wanted to add more low end torque b/c can't compete with the 450's on the short track.

1 is a good number to go down in the front. 2 will make the thing want to wheelie too much. Your gears will not be drawn out as long (meaning you will have to shift more often) your power will hit a lot harder too. I went down 1 in the front and love it. Plus its a lot easier than replacing the rear sprocket.

The stock raptor is 13 so by dropping one tooth you will be at 12. Hopefully you didn't order the 13 thinking that was one tooth less. The Z400 stock is 14. I dropped all my quads one tooth in the front (two Raptors and a Z400) because we mostly ride the dunes and need the extra power. I wouldn't say it's a big difference but it is noticeable. I kind of like it for trails too because it allows you to lug it a little more in 2nd when the going is slow and you are less likely to stall it.
