More than likely you are not "misfiring" you are probably rich or lean on the carbs ? Have you messed with the jetting ? Has the quad been setting up for a while , you may need to give the carb's a good cleaning.

Clean the carbs out. Mine will do the same thing if I let it sit. I always empty the tank and run the carbs dry if it sits for more than a week or two.

check the easy fixes first. make sure your parking brake rev limiter is fully disengaged and not kicking in. also, make sure you're getting good spark to the plug. check and clean the air filter. examine all your intake boots, make sure none are loose or cracked. go over your wiring harness and make sure all your plugs are connected. if none of this clears it up, then it may be time to look at your carbs. if you haven't adjusted the jetting, that is probably not your problem.
