Default 185S centrifugal clutch

Am I correct that this is a left hand thread on the centrifugal clutch nut?(Turn to the right to loosen)
What size is this nut? I bought a 30mm socket but it seems loose..
How do you hold the crank to keep it from turning while you loosen the Centrif. clutch nut?
Thanks

I can't remember the size but it is left hand threads, the clymer book says to put soft metal (like a penny) between the gears and that will keep it from spining. my experiance is that after all that time the penny gives out before the nut comes loose so I spray it with some pb blaster and then just pop it a few times with my half inch impact and it spins right off

Thanks. That's what I plan to do..Parts breakdowns show it to be a 22mm nut it isn't on mine. I'm still searching for the right size. Looks like it going to be a 28 or 29mm.

Finding metric scockets that size is a challenge in itself, Sears doesn't seem to go above 27mm, and I love Craftsman tools.

I'm about ready to load it up and take it to the auto parts store and run in and out with sockets till I find one(If they happen to have one). I took the 30mm back today and got a 1 3/16" but once converted to mm it comes to 30mm so no need to even open the pack..guess if I try aan SAE socket I will try to find a 1- 5/32" or 6/32 if there is such a thing in deep sockets( 1-1/8" won't fit but 1-1/4 is way too big)
