Just got my new Ruby. Not sure it will out pull a D9 cat. Don't think it will beat any bullit bikes. It might even get stuck in a swamp with mud coming over the bars. But I would not trade it for one of those belted contraptions. smooooooth as silk and a joy to ride. you can even hear something besides the flap of a belt. Go HONDA.................

Is that why a belt drive bike kicked it's butt in a shoot out in a honda loving DW magazine? The tranny is nice but there lots still left to do or it will get kicked again nexts year.

slickrock,

The Rubicon tranny is excellent nothing in the industry is advanced. That was the main reason that ATV connection gave ATV of the year award to the Rubicon.

Good luck on your Rubicon

Good luck on your Ruby. I have heard many good things about them. However, they will NOT outpull a D9 Cat. A D7, maybe, but not a D9

Nobody will see this, but I HATE people who bad mouth the Rubi tranny. My transmission is the next step that everyone will eventually be taking. Honda is years ahead of the industry with this tranny. Your Sportsman may have beaten the Rubi in some shootout, but I gaurantee there is no competition for this transmission
