Default looking for a new clutch kit

Any opinions on a new clutch kit??? I'm looking for something that is very easy to pull (2 fingers) being that I ride a lot of tight trails and do quite a bit of feathering on the clutch. Right now, it's all stock and I get a good arm pump w/in the first hour which makes the rest of my riding a pain and not so much pleasure. Is there any way or trick that I could use on the stock to make it easier before I go out and spend money that I may not need??? Should I do re-do the whole basket as well? Any thoughts and opinions would be appreciated. Thanks everyone!

I heard of the Rekluse auto clutch system from my friends who race GNCC. It works just like an auto clutch, but you can still use your manuel clutch if you want to. Check it out at www.rekluse.com. Cost about 5oo.oo+ new. I found one on ebay for less than 300.00 and it works great. If that's more than you have to spend, you can replace your stock clutch lever with an easy pull lever that will make it easier to pull. But the auto is the way to go, you don't have to pull in the clutch, you just let off the gas and it's like you are pulling in the clutch. Go back on the gas and you take back off, no more arm pump from clutch use. And it's race proven, they hold up.

excavatorman,

Good heads up and that sounds like a really nice product, especially if you are in a race circuit. However, I am not in a race circuit and really do not want to spend that kind of money. I'm just looking for something that will reduce the pull for a fairly reasonable price. I don't think I could justify that much money to myself. I don't mind pulling the clutch, i would just like it to be a little easier. Thanks for the reply though!

So true about the racing and I use to race my self. But know I'm just an old man who trail rides alot. If you ride alot of trails and plan on keeping your quad a long time it worth it. But like I said you can buy a easy clutch lever and it will help alot. Even thou I don't race I still like all the mod's. I have about 10.000 in my 450R, Which includes the auto clutch, + 1' LT a arms, PEP LT shocks, HRC kit, ITP Baja rims, Holeshot tires, Arens pro peg nerfs and it hauls a$$ in the woods. Happy riding.
