Default ATTENTION SPORTSMAN TWIN OWNERS....

Just got back from a four day ride and ran into a small problem with a 2004 Sportsman 600...When we stopped for a break we could smell anti-freeze..On the third day after about two miles when we stopped to gas up the ATV's hot light was on and the fan was not running...Checked and no coolant in radiator...The top hose (left hand side) was rubbing against the frame and had rubbed a small hole ..Luckly we had the parts to fix this and were shortly back on trail...We checked the other twins that were riding with us and they all were almost rubbed through..This hose has a protective cover over it but that had been rubbed through also..You may want to check yours....

We checked the 400-450 and 500's we were riding with and they were all ok..Only the 600-700and 800's were rubbing the frame...

No need to pull anything off. You can see it behind the wheel. Same thing happened on our 600 that we had.
