Swing-arm skid plate?

Anyone have/reccomend a swing arm skid plate? Or are they just a shovel in the mud?

If your on a Sport or Scrambler, check out PRM for some skids.

I highly recomend them for the bikes mentioned above. The rotor and sprocket are begging to be smashed against a rock. I got a Polaris model for my Sport at the dealer for $79.00
