warrior smoking

Default warrior smoking

ive noticed that my warrior smokes a little bit when i hit really high rpms. The smoke comes out of the exhuast pipe
Is this normal?

P.S. The baffle is removed.

Its not normal. Sounds like your piston rings are worn out. Mine did the same thing and I replaced the valve seals. That helped a little, but the smoking continued until I rebuilt the top end.

am i recking the engine if it smokes or does it matter if i fix this soon?

It wont hurt anything. The damage is already done. It may continue to get worse. A friend of mine rode his 400EX for a year with it smoking like a freight train. He never did fix. He just sold it like it was - still smoking and still running.
