Default Emergency Shift Handle

I have been reading the posts about the 1st gear light flashing which is the problem I am having now. But this time rocking the machine still won't free the gears like it usually does.

What (or where) is the emergency shift handle they make reference to - and how do I use it to manually shift my recon? Year is 2001 or 2002 can't remember at the moment. Thanks.

it usually in the rear in the storage compartment. all you do is slide it over the nut/shaft that is exposed by your left foot. it were the shifter would be if it wasnt an es.

Default Emergency Shift Handle

If you can not find the emergency handle, use a 12mm wrench
