Havent been on teh threads too much, whos building what for the DS? been reading that a bunch of you are doing the BUSA change over, damn you all have a need for speed!
Seems no word on HPR? havent read much on THE BOM either, also Im a E bay shopping mad man, never do it while drinking! I still see those 720 steel sleeve kits sold, havent again read any persons builds, just shaking the tree to see whats up before the DS450 hit and run amuck on the threads

Current builds:
1. Stock DS650, +6 swingarm, 12 paddle 22" extremes 14/43 gears 520 conversion, F4i pipe and open intake. This bike is designed to for tree chutes in Oregon.
STATUS: Complete
2. Custom Chromoly suspended chassis with a stock Raptor 700R motor. Weighs 295 dry, LTE exhaust +12 swingarm, +8 in the front, 14 paddle 22" Ultralights. You would not believe how fast a stock Raptor motor is in this light hill drag chassis.
STATUS: Complete
3. 2006 Raptor 700R with a 2005 180 hp R1 motor. Ohlins suspension and a +10 swing arm (this one is my favorite!)
STATUS: Complete
4. 2005 DS650 with a 2005 Hayabusa installed approx 200 hp at the crank. +12 swingarm, 14 paddle extremes 25" tires.
STATUS: In Progress (almost done....can't wait to test it)

Well, I should wrap mine up tomorrow.
Engine:
11.5 JE Piston, ported head and HR2 cams from Pipelayer (with a once over from BigDaddy), RW TM45 + 60% springs, F4i pipe, Big Gun CDI, ported intake. 15X40 520 conversion.
Rest:
+4 ODP Swingarm, 22X11X10 8 paddle double buff extremes rear and 23in AMS front on black labels, light fender trim, removed heel guards, IMS tank. Replaced front bumper with a grab bar and put an aluminum grab bar on the rear. Coolest thing is custom graphics my kids are making, they do vinyl decals.
I should have pics up this weekend as I wrap it all up.

Another 2 months and I'll have a Raptor sleeved 11-1 720, an '06 stock rod crank, custom web cams, new shim unders, another big valve race head and a tm48 on pump gas, 22-11-8 twelve paddle extreme triple buffs, a plus 6 arm, back cut tranny, lightened flywheel, Barnett clutch with Pami 80% springs, 17/35 520 gears, and an Odyysey battery. About 65 hp on pump 92, full suspension so I can ride all day.

I have a dusty DS with an empty gas tank and scratched black plastic. The only thing in its future is a freshy tank of petro and more dust. I'd rather ride it than wrench on it, but good luck to all the busy builders out there.

Dropped off some extra stock cams to get ground, going to try some different durations to see how to get more midrage close to the A1 / A2 grinds, not to worried about any more top end

You sure complain alot about this. When are you going to do something to resolve it....or just move on?
Every last one of us that have done any extreme builds have had major problems with builders of one kind or another............... financial, schedule, quality or all of the above in some cases......
