Default power problems with Kymco mxu 300

Hi there everyone! New to the forum. Just wanted to know if anyone out there own one of these bikes? If so would love to hear what you think about this machine. I'm personaly having a issue myself. Bought the wife one about month or so ago. It just does not have the power I was hoping for. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I don't own one myself , but i saw a revue a moth or so ago i don't remember the site url it was a video revue of the 2007 model atv's ; there were everything from Honda , Yamaha , Suzuki , Kawasaki , Can Am , Polaris and Arctic Cat ; and all the big brand name companies ! I saw it on the forums or on one of those ATV riders Magazine , i don't remember whitch ; but was a good review on all the new 2007 year models if ican find it i'll post a reply to you ! Or maye someone will jump in with a link for you ; but from what i remember about the Kymco it was a 300 2wd i thought it looked good to me they showed video from road racing on asfaut to mud and dirt track. I haven't seen a 2006 model and i don't know what all had changed from 2006 to2007's , there's different view's on the topic about break in on new engine's there's a guy who has site telling people not baby it while doing the the ring seat break in ; some say ride it like stole it while other's say follow the owners manual say's the proper break in! There should break in her and speak up on this subject , saw i a post tonight with the link to this break in stuff well i think it's past my bedtime and i have to get up early this morning so if someone hasn't given you hepl by the time i can get backm; i'll try to look for you then and a good one! williebee

When you write "shut off" do you mean switched off? If so I would check the switch first. Then the earths and main wire from battery to ignition switch.
