Default Bombardier traxter Max 500 XL

Okay guys, I need some serious help! Thanks in advance for any you might give. I have a 2004 traxter-Max 500XL (bombardier). I have a bad rear wheel bearing. I removed the hub nut and the oil seal also the retaining ring and voila...the bearing is there. The problem is, I can't seem to get the dang thing out. Looking at the diagram, it shows two bearings. They sit into the axle shaft, but it would appear they are pressed in. The problem here is that to reverse the process to get them out, it looks at though I would need to disassemble the axle shaft and remove it from the rear differential housing in order to be able to get to the bearing from behind to remove it. Am I wrong? If there are any of you "guru's" out there with experience getting these out, would you mind giving me a few pointers? It's greatly appreciated!
