really big problem
#1
i have a really large problem concerning my outy 800. I thought that i had got in a minor wreck but i guess that the accident that happened twisted the frame so bad that it is unfixable and i need a new one. I was wanting to know if anyone has done and what they accually did. I have full coverage insurance and i am sure that the plan is to turn it into insurance but if anyone else has any bright ideas, please let me know. And also with labotr and everything what does something like a new frame cost? THANX

Kolbrider i saw a post about a week or so ago about someone who was in looking into wheather he should try to re weld and use trusset's on a DS650 , and i think (if i'm not mistaken someone told them they could get a new frame for $700 to $800 ; but i don't recall if it was a new factory frame or one of the coutom shop's ! But even if it was a new factory frame it would take quiet alot labor time , and you'd have to have someone you felt was compltant to help you ; and with the insurance company's unless you got the coverage that garrantee's you a new bike they will only want to pay what the bluebook value ; that's what i found out after the second year coverage started ! So unless you got your policy from the one that cover's you a new car or got the speacial coverage you're at their mercy ! Sorry i don't remember the Ins.group ! Oh yes i do remember the Insurance Company , it was AllState !......................

I got it on my 06' AC 400 FIS 4x4 , i had already payed cash for the coverage ; only to get a letter a couple week's later stating that i didn't have have my Auto insurance covered with them , and that if i took out full coverage on my 87' chevy S-10 pickup and my 88' GMCS-15 Jinny they would cover me to the end of the month then cancell the policy and return the unearned preminum ! If i had known they would be me like that my Cat would have fallen down and can't get up ! That is if i was that type of person ! ...........
