I don't know much about atvs, but my father in law recently got me and a buddy 2 '06 panther 110 UT's. I was wondering if there was anyway to upgrade the engine to make it faster and if so what it entailed and an estimate on the cost.

If you can unplug and plug in in a few wires you can do it

thanks for all the info. Do you think it will come with a booklet telling me where to install it or should I try and download the atv's manual.

I don`t think you will get any directions and if you can even find a manual on your atv yea download it. to find the coil follow the plug wire backwards from the plug, the plug wire is made in the coil it is all one unit . As for the CDI box I have one atv and its on the front and the other one is on the rear. My advice is go to the web site I told you about look at the picture of the box and look around the harness on your atv and you can find it easy. stick with this forum it is the best you can get through about any problem you have here. I dont know how much you have ridden this atv but I strongly advise you to check all your nuts and bolts to make sure they are tight and do this from time to time. If you read on here much you will find these chinese Atv`s are known for nuts and bolts being loose from the factory.Hang in there you`ll be a atv mechanic soon.
