95-05 wolvy susp.
#1
I did a little searching, but came up empty handed. I've heard Raptor front shocks will bolt on the 95-05 Wolvy. Has anyone done this? How did they perform? Is there any direct bolt on(take offs) that will work on the rear? How do they work?

I can't answer for sure, but...
Raptor comes in 5 flavors - 700R, 660R, 250, 250 and 80. I have a set of shocks laying around from my 660R. I looked and they really don't look like they would work. The Raptor 660R rear shocks are a few inches shorter than the Wolfy's - and the wolfy is heavier. The diameter of the spring on the shock is also much larger and it looks like it probably doesn't give enough clearance to the swing arm. The Raptor's front shocks are also much longer. The geometries between the Raptor and Wolfy are completely different.
I want new shocks for my Wolfy, but I wouldn't even attempt to put the Raptor shocks on it (and I have them laying around).

I think that the raptor fronts will work. A buddy has yzf450 fronts on his already. I didn't think the rear would work off of either of these machines as they have a rising rate rear linkage set up. I guess I'm out of luck for the rear.
