93 Trailboss wont run without choke on and bogs when running
#1
i just got a 93 trailboss and cant get it to run good. It will only run with the choke on and bogs down when trying to rev high. The carburetor has been cleaned good and engine has good compression. Ive read about the removing the black wire on the throttle override and tried it but nothing changed. I dont know if i removed the right black wire or not or if the carburetor is out of adjustment. At this point any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

check the intake boot thing between the carb and motor. make sure its good and doesn't have any holes in it. friends recon would do the same thing and it turned out it was torn.

I removed the jets and cleaned them. It runs a whole lot better except i still have to keep the choke on, but it doesnt bog but maybe 1 out every 5 times. I need to find the factory settings that might take care of it. Thanks for the Help.

Still sounds like you have a pilot jet stopped up.You have to be able to see good light through the center hole and all the holes on the side need to be clear
