My 2005 Ranger starter is starting to drag and even locks up when it is hot. I can usually tap it with a small hammer to unstick, but I know it is time for a rebuild.
I ordered the brushes ect, but when I got ready to remove the starter, it looks alot more difficuly than I expected. Do I have to remove the sidecover or other items?
Any experienced tech's, give me some pointers?
